It is not required that you have an attorney to enter this contest however I am NOT an attorney nor do I offer any legal advice, so you may visit the  website of the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Virginia where you will find all relavent information for you to make an informed judgement concerning this contest or others like it offered in the state of Virginia visit at the Official Web Site and view the opinions of "Jerry Kilgore listed as, Brian J. Moran September 1996". This contest is not considered a RAFFLE, the element of chance is not present. Please read below carefully.

 
1. SUBJECT THEME:
Each Essay must contain the theme "Why you should sell me your house for 100.00 bucks" Each Essay shall contain no less than 75 words and no more than 150 All essays must be written in ENGLISH ONLY. Property located at 1115 Farmview Rd. Glade Hill Va. (Odds of winning are 432 times greater than winning the Va. Lottery with the 12597 entrants.) (Keep in mind the odds of winning are greater if less entrants enter the contest) Ie. 2,500
 
2. ELIGIBILITY:
Each essay may be entered by anyone 18 years of age or older of contractual capacity worldwide. (void where prohibited) Arizona, Iowa, Nebraska, Maryland .Contest Judges, owners of the real estate, or personal property sponsors, their employees and their immediate families of those previously mentioned are DISQUALIFIED AND MAY NOT participate as entrants in the contest. Multiple entries with (multiple entry fees) by an entrant are acceptable, U.S. funds only.
 
3. ESSAY ENTRY FEE:
All entry fees are $100.00 .  Sponsor shall hold all entry fees in an escrow account. All entries shall be deemed received whether or not the essay adheres to the TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS. (In English only and no less than 75 words and no more than 150 words.) Absolutely NO Refunds shall be made for any reason WHAT SO EVER. The sponsor reserves right to withdraw from the contest should less than 2,500 entrants enter. And to return the entrants entry fee of $100.00 minus a $20.00 processing fee which will immediately be credited to the entrants credit card or checking account (unless cash, money order, or cashiers check) which ever form of payment the entrant used will be returned back to the entrant).unpon the refund.  ONLY IF LESS THAN 2,500 ENTRANTS will a refund be given. 4. JUDGES:
Sponsors and owners of the contest and property 1115 Farmview Rd. Glade Hill, Va. 24092 Will make the final selection. Based solely on the content of the essay. (Inspire Me)
 
5. STANDARDS FOR JUDGING:
A. Each essay shall be appointed a number when the essay arrives in the mail and will be numbered from first to last received each day. neither U.S. or E-mail.
B. Each essay shall be read and evaluated.
C. Each Essay shall include an entry fee and proper adherence to the regulations set forth in the rules stated.
D. Each entry which meets the requirements set forth shall be judged on the basis of any and all positive social values, including art & humor, poetry or prose, using geograpical, historical, enconomic or religious references as long as the entrant conveys the desire to buy this property for $100.00 Bucks.
E. Contents of essay are the most important, (not the writing shills, spelling or punctuation)
 
6. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Each entrant will provide full legal name, address, telephone number(s) fax number(s) Should you win, we need to know exactly how to get in touch with you.
 
7. DEADLINES AND RUNNERS UP:
A. Entriesmust be postmarked on or before March 1st, 2005 12:00 am EST USA, and must arrive at 1115 Farmview Rd. Glade Hill, Va. 24092 by March 5th, 2005 all entries shall be addressed to Essay Contest Responsibility for lost or late or misdirected entries rests with the entrant alone.
B. The winner will be chosen on or before April 30th, 2005 along with the runners up 1st thru 4th.
C. The estate will be accompanied by a General Warranty Deed-Debt Free.
D. The winning entry shall be published in the local newspaper in state or county where the winner resides, with a mention in all other newspapers where contest has been advertised.
E. If the winner refuses in writing to accept the prize property, then it shall be awarded to the 1st runner up until one entrant accepts the prize. If the property is not claimed with in the 30 day allowance, then the runner up will be awarded the prize.
F. The judges will issue a short statement as to why the winning entrant was selected. which will be published both in the newspaper and on the website.
G. By VA. Code all contests may run no longer than 1 year.(If you wait you may forget, or worse yet loose your place in the contest, due to the fact hundreds of people enter each week, Or. (you could loose your information ie. flyer)
 
8. COPYRIGHT AND PUBLICATIONS:
Each contest entry constitutes an assignment to the sponsor of all copyrights arising under both statues and the common law and all other derivative there from.  By entering this essay contest the entrant grants future permission for sponsors to publish all or part of the submitted essay and to use the entrant's name and photograph and to publize the winning entry and the names of all the final essays from the contest, all without royalty or consideration if desired by sponsor.
 
9. STATE, FEDERAL, AND INTERNATIONAL REGULATIONS:
This contest is subject to the provisions of all applicable International, State and local laws and regulations. This offer is void where prohibited.
 
10. TAXES, FEES:
The prize shall be delivered free and clear of debt to contest winner. The real estate for Farm View Rd. Will receive a General Warranty Deed.  The winning entrant shall be solely responsible for any and all taxes, lawyer fees or fees of any kind arisng out of successful participation in this essay contest. If the winner refuses to accept the prize property, then the 1st runner up becomes responsible for all above stated taxes and fees.  Should the 1st runner up refuse in writing to accept the prize property, then the 2nd runner up shall become responsible for all the stated fees and taxes, and so on until one entrant accepts the prize property.
 
11. THE SUBJECT PROPERTY:
No respresentation is made by the sponsors that the appraised for all the stated fees and taxes, and so on until one entrant accepts the prize property.
 
12.  EXTENSIONS:
Sponsors reserves the sole right to extend the deadlines of the essay contest entry.  determination of the winning entries and the publication of the winning entry and the judges statment for one extension period of up to sixty (60) days according to Va. code.
 
13. PRIZE TRANSFER:
The transfer of the prize property must occur within thirty (30) days if deemed necessary.
 
14. DISCLAIMERS:
A. This contest has not been approved or endorsed by any government agency.  the Attorney General of Virginia has confirmed by a letter ruling 9/1/96 declaring talent contests to be legal. B. The sponsor makes no guarantees or warranties, of any sort what so ever, concerning the subject property, accept this is a new home constructed and completed in Feb. 2001.  The home located thereon or the structures  or mechanical systems location or in the subject property.  The property both real and personal are offered "as is" and no representations are made regarding the condition of the prize property.  Any appraisals. are for informational purposes only.
C. by participating in this contest or accepting any prize that they may win, all entrants agree to release Owners Judges, sponsors, afffiliated companies, advertising and promotional agencies and prize suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives, and employees from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in this contest and or acceptance after the winner is announced.
 
15. TO VISIT:
Property may be viewed from the street ONLY during the contest at appropriate daytime hours. Prizewinner only may visit the interior with an arragned appointment after the winner is announced.
