What is the Judging criteria?
Judging is based on the following criteria: 30% Creativity; 20% Appropriateness;
20% Clarity; 30% Sincerity. The essay is based solely on Content & Skill not Grammar or Punctuation. Each essay
will be read.

The Sponsors and Owners of the House will Read and Judge each essay.

When will I know that the maximum number of entrants are in for
the contest and I will no longer be able to enter?
Once the total qualified entries are in the web-site will issue a closed
contest statement and will not accept future e-mail entries.
How are the maximum number of entrants Determined?
The Commonwealth of Virginia Determines the number of entrants based on
the value of the property being offered in the contest starting at the date of the contest.
Why should I enter Early?
Virginia state law limits the number of entries. Sumbit your essay
early to ensure your entry into the contest, then if you so choose and time permits revise your essay get the opinion
of family or friends an and resubmit a second entry for the contest judges to review.
Can I submit more than one essay, and only pay one fee?
You may enter as many times you need too convey your desire to own
this beautiful property, however you must pay a seperate entry fee with each submitted essay.
